My Journey to Weight Loss

For years, I struggled with losing weight and feeling confident in my own skin.

I did everything I was told would work— followed strict diets, cut out food groups, tried the latest trends and constantly started over every week.

And while I might see short-term results, nothing ever lasted long term. There would be a vacation or a girls weekend, and I would feel like I ruined all of my progress. I felt stuck in a cycle of restriction, frustration and burnout.

Everything changed when I stopped chasing extremes and started focusing on what actually works long-term…. balanced nutrition, sustainable habits, mindset changes and supporting my body instead of fighting it.

Within months of sticking to these micro habits, everything changed. My energy returned. The bloating disappeared. The scale dropped. I finally felt like myself again.

That shift didn’t just cause me to lose 40lbs, it changed my entire relationship with food.

Why I Became a Dietitian

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by health— but also frustrated by how confusing it felt.

Like so many women, I watched people around me try every diet under the sun… the keto diet, intermittent fasting, chasing quick fixes— only to end up right back where they started. I saw the guilt, the all-or-nothing mindset, and the constant feeling of “Why isn’t this working for me?”

And honestly, I felt that frustration too.

That’s what led me to pursue nutrition and become a Registered Dietitian— not just to understand food, but to understand why so many women were doing everything “right” and still not seeing results.

What I discovered changed everything.

It wasn’t about more restriction, more rules, or more willpower. It was about having a strategy that actually works with your body, lifestyle and your real life— not against it. Now I help women lose weight in a way that feels sustainable, realistic and freeing. No more feeling like you are on a diet. No cutting out your favorite foods. No starting over every single Monday.

Because you shouldn’t have to choose between seeing results and enjoying your life.

I became a dietitian to give women the clarity, support, and confidence they’ve been missing— and to prove that lasting results are possible without downloading MyFitnessPal again.

Education & Certifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) 2023

A nationally recognized credential requiring extensive education, supervised training and a board exam.

Licensed Dietitian (LD) 2023- OH

State licensure that allows me to practice nutrition professionally and provide personalized counseling with the highest standard of care.

Dietetic Internship (1,200+ Hours of Supervised Practice) 2021-2022

Completed a rigorous, hands-on training program across clinical, community and counseling settings working directly with patients to apply nutrition science in real life scenarios.

Bachelor of Science in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics 2017-2021

Undergraduate education provided a strong foundation in clinical nutrition, metabolism and the science behind how food impacts the body.

When I'm not working with clients, you’ll usually find me on the hunt for the best vanilla iced latte at a local Columbus coffee shop or enjoying a morning workout class! I love a good happy hour moment— on a patio with a crisp glass of white wine, truffle fries and Brussel sprouts, soaking up time with my girls and the sun.

And just as much, I love being at home in the kitchen trying new recipes and finding ways to make healthy eating feel simple, balanced and actually enjoyable.

Because to me, health isn’t about perfection— it’s about creating a lifestyle that includes both feeling food and living your life.

I live in Columbus, Ohio and work with clients virtually across the country. Whether you're dealing with constant dieting burnout, confusion around what actually works, or feeling stuck in the same cycle— I’m here to help you lose the weight and get to a place where eating doesn’t feel like a chore.
